Ibiza -May 2013- Places to stay





Just came across some photos I took earlier this year of my trip to Ibiza with my family and boyfriend.

I am lucky enough that my brother lives out there with his family so we have an amazing place to stay and it's always lovely to go out and see them all.

We stayed in his new finca (home) which he has just built, it is amazing!!

They also have a second villa called Can Verru which they rent out in the summer which is also incredible.

Despite staying there with my family most years I have stayed there a few times with all my friends and it was one of the best holidays ever.. here is the website below.

Juicing - day 6 - 7


So I did it!!!!

7 days but nothing but pure juice.. My post is a bit late now, but I did feel amazing after doing this.

 I didn't go straight back on eating like I used to I have a juice every morning and then maybe one for lunch but for dinner I would have a light salad with quinoa and sweet potatoes 
or poached egg with asparagus.

I lost 6 lbs in total, I would recommend this to anyone I have had a few people asking me where to get the supplements and the juicer from. www.juicemaster.com can provide you with everything you need.

One tip though, there was one day that I didn't have all the ingredients for one of the juices, and I would have to say it was NO WAY near as nice, so I would definitely say follow the recipes.

Juicing - Day 3 - 5



Ok so I'm up to day 5 now, and feel really good :) but I am missing chewing food so I did slip up slightly and had a plain green salad, with spinach,  green beans, soybeans, red pepper & basil, I didn't feel like this was cheating massively as its all healthy food, but it was just extremely difficult being in a restaurant and not ordering anything...  but hey ! I have lost 5lbs so far which I'm happy with but like I said I was never really doing this to loose weight, just to clean my body and have a good detox.

 I found the weekend the hardest as socially I was surrounded by food the whole time at BBQ's and restaurant, so I'm being honest and saying it was tough but I only have 2 more days to go now :)

Out all of the juices though I have tried the Super Juice is still my favorite and when I finish this I will continue to have this every morning and maybe lunchtime as well finishing with a healthy dinner

I have so much energy after having this juice, its almost the like having a coffee in the morning but SO much better for you, I have even converted by boyfriend to having one of them every morning now, which he posted of face book :)

Juicing - DAY 2

Well this morning I woke up and didn't feel hungry at all! which isn't like me as I love my breakfast, its my FAVORITE meal of the day, so I was really shocked I wasn't craving eggs on toast or something.
Last night however was a bit of a struggle only because my boyfriend decided to bake a cake last night and the smell was so tempting, but I did good and stayed away :) I think he was just testing me or just teasing....

I had the delicious Super Juice this morning and made one for lunch as well, I think so far this is my favorite one, its so green but a lot of my friends think its crazy I drink it, but it tastes so good and the avocado makes it really creamy and more like a smoothie..I LOVE IT!

Here is the recipe

JM's Super Juice
½ lime, peeled
2 apples, any type except Granny Smiths as they don't juice well
½ pineapple
½ medium cucumber
½ ripe avocado
1oz fresh wheatgrass or wheatgrass powder
1 level tsp spirulina
1 capsule of acidophilus bacteria powder
Ice cubes


Also today I made the super juice chute one again, the colour of this one is crazy as the beetroot makes it this really deep red. This one to me is more of a juice which is really refreshing and tastes great.

Oooo tonight was a challenge...
So normally I go and meet my friends for a drink every Thursday and I would maybe have a couple of vodkas and sodas....but I didn't want to break tradition so I went along anyway, but staying strong I just stuck to water, ice and a slice of lime all night, not drinking was fine but when the crisps and roasted  nuts started coming out that's when it got a bit tricky as I do love my crisps  :/ so I just sat with my mates and starting drinking my juice lol :) I was really shocked I managed to hold back  so I'm feeling really pleased and feeling really good so far ...

Nothing but juice....Day 1

So I have decide to do the amazing 7lbs in 7 week juicing diet, by the Juice Master Jason Vale.

I have done this already before, at the beginning of 2012  but seeing as its coming up to summer (and I am in dire need of a detox!!!) I'm going to give this diet another go :)

The last time I did it I did find it quite hard the first few days living on nothing but pure juice but after the 3rd or 4th day I remember feeling so energetic and by the end I wasn't craving any fatty food, just salads and healthy dinners.

 I'm not to sure what my total amount of weight was I lost.... I think it may of been 5lbs or 6lbs but I wasn't really doing it to lose weight I just wanted to clean my body of all the rubbish I had consumed over the months.

Any way this is my first day back on the diet and so far I feel fine, got slightly hungry after 2.00pm but I just had the Super Chute Juice  which was delicious. and feel full up again

recipe is below:

  • 2 Golden Delicious or Royal Gala apples
  • A small chunk of carrot
  • ½ stick celery
  • 1 large handful of mixed green leaves – watercress, kale, parsley, spinach and whatever other green leafy vegetables that are available
  • 1 inch slice of cucumber
  • ½ inch chunk of broccoli stem
  • 1 small handful of alfalfa sprouts (found in any good health shop)
  • ¼ inch slice of unpeeled raw beetroot
  • ¼ inch slice courgette (zucchini)
  • 1 small piece of lemon – preferably, wax-free lemon with rind 
  • ¼ inch slice of ginger
  • 1 ice cube
