I have been to Thailand 3 times now, first when I was 19 in 2007/ 2008 , I had know idea what to expect when I went there, but I fell in love with the country straight away! Koh Samui and Phi Phi were my favorite but after going back there over the years Koh Samui has changed so much so that when me and my boyfriend returned we couldn't really bare to stay there that long so we headed to our new favorite place Koh Phangan,
Yes this island is associated with the crazy amazing full moon party which I have done 3 times aswell and loved it, but there a beautiful side to Koh Phangan, The place we stay at is Haad Chao Phao,
The first time me and my boyfriend stayed there our resort wasn't that great, but we found a place right next to us that we that we were so jealous of, with traditionally beach bungalow with hammocks on the porch, stunning garden walk ways, BBQ's in the evening, it just look perfect. so we promised our selves that next time we came back we will stay there and that's exactly what we did...
The place is called Sea Flower Bungalows, and all the places we have stayed at this is by far the closest to paradise we have found, we stayed there for a a week before traveling around abit, but we didn't want to leave.
We meet some amazing people here, and the family that own the place are so friendly and extremely welcoming. I love everything about this part of the island. and I can not wait to go back here.
